    Jonah Peretti is the Founder and CEO of BuzzFeed, a leading tech-powered, diversified media company focused on building a new media business model for the Internet and social media world. Jonah Peretti has served as BuzzFeed’s Chief Executive Officer and a member of the company’s board of directors since 2006.

    Prior to founding BuzzFeed, Mr. Peretti co-founded The Huffington Post, a digital publisher of news, lifestyle and popular culture content, and served in various management roles there from the company’s founding until its sale to AOL Inc. In 2021 BuzzFeed acquired HuffPost, bringing the award-winning news organization back full circle to Peretti.

    Mr. Peretti holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from University of California, Santa Cruz and a M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab.

    Christian Baesler is the Chief Operating Officer for BuzzFeed Inc, where he oversees all revenue functions for the company. Baesler also serves as the CEO of Complex Networks, where he is responsible for the growth of the company’s portfolio of brands – Complex, First We Feast, Sole Collector, Pigeons & Planes, ComplexCon and ComplexLand. As part of his role, Baesler oversees the day-to-day operations of the company and the core digital business teams that have bolstered Complex Networks to the leading voice of youth culture.

    Prior to Complex Networks, Baesler spent nearly a decade at Bauer Media Group, most recently as President of Bauer Xcel Media, Bauer Media Group’s global digital division. During his tenure at Xcel, he built the U.S. operation into a team of more than 70 across editorial, technology, marketing and product management. In addition to his U.S. responsibilities, Baesler expanded his role to include overseeing Bauer’s digital business in the U.K., where the company is the largest magazine publisher, as well as Europe’s largest commercial radio operator.

    Baesler holds a B.S. in Business Informatics from Nordakademie.

    Felicia DellaFortuna has served as BuzzFeed’s Chief Financial Officer since February 2020. DellaFortuna previously served as Senior Vice President of Finance from May 2019 to February 2020, as the Vice President of Finance from June 2017 to May 2019, and started at BuzzFeed as the Senior Director of Finance from October 2015 to June 2017. Prior to joining BuzzFeed, DellaFortuna served as Senior Director of Finance at Viant Technology Inc., an advertising software company, from 2013 to 2015. DellaFortuna also served as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at XIX Entertainment Limited, an entertainment content and intellectual rights organization, from 2011 to 2013.  

     DellaFortuna started her career at Ernst & Young Inc., an accounting firm, where she held several roles in its Assurance and Transaction Advisory Services divisions, including Manager of Transaction Advisory Services, from August 2005 to May 2011.

     DellaFortuna holds a B.S. in Accounting from Lehigh University’s College of Business and Economics.

    Marcela Martin joined BuzzFeed in 2022 and currently serves as President. Before BuzzFeed, Martin served as CFO of Squarespace. Prior to her role at Squarespace, Martin was SVP and CFO of Booking.com. Previously, she spent three years at National Geographic Partners as Executive Vice President, CFO & Chief Administrative Officer and 18 years in numerous leadership positions, including EVP and CFO, at Fox International Channels. Originally from Argentina, Martin graduated from the University of Morón with a degree in accounting and received an MBA from the University of Liverpool.

    Carole Robinson joined BuzzFeed in 2016 as the company’s first Chief Communications Officer. Robinson oversees all global communications strategy, public and media relations, financial communications and internal communications.

    Prior to BuzzFeed, Robinson spent 30+ years at MTV Networks and Viacom in communications and management roles including Executive Vice President of Communications and Chief of Staff for the network group that included MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon, and Executive Vice President of Corporate & Marketing Communications for Viacom.

    Robinson holds a B.A. in English from Colgate University and currently serves on Colgate’s Alumni Council.

    As BuzzFeed, Inc.'s Chief People Officer, Chandler manages a diverse People Team across the organization, and oversees all strategic initiatives related to organizational planning, talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, labor relations, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

    Chandler has an extensive background in people development, working at Advantage Solutions for seven years prior to BuzzFeed where she led programs aligned with business strategy for an employee population of over 60,000. She holds a unique ability to cultivate and deepen company values and establish successful company-wide HR-based solutions.

    Beyond that, Chandler lives in Southern California by the coast with her husband, two adorable young daughters Brooklyn and Piper, and a beautiful rescue husky Summer.

    Dao Nguyen joined BuzzFeed in 2012 and has served as the company’s Publisher since 2014. Additionally, Nguyen leads BuzzFeed’s Content and Tech teams.

    Prior to joining BuzzFeed, Nguyen worked at Le Monde Interactif SA, or Le Monde, the digital subsidiary of the Le Monde newspaper in France, from 2001 to 2008. Nguyen served as the subsidiary’s Chief Executive Officer during her last 2.5 years at Le Monde. She has held technical and product positions at several other digital companies including a Dow Jones venture from 2009 to 2012, Concrete Media Inc., an internet consulting company, from 1998 to 2001, and Accenture plc, formerly Andersen Consulting, from 1994 to 1998. Nguyen holds a B.A. in Applied Math/Computer Science from Harvard University.

As a six year veteran of BuzzFeed, she has worked across the company on Hollywood studio projects, including two recent documentary projects: The Rise And Fall of LuLaRoe and Once Upon A Time In Londongrad, both based on BuzzFeed News reporting. is now the editor-in-chief of BuzzFeed News.

    Danielle Belton joined BuzzFeed in 2021 and currently serves as HuffPost's Editor-in-Chief. Belton began her journalism career at the Bakersfield Californian, a local newspaper in Southern California; later created and managed her own award-winning blog, The Black Snob, in 2007; and since then has written, edited, and contributed to numerous publications including theGrio, Essence, The Washington Post and The New York Times -- as well as programming across NPR, PBS, CNN, ABC, and BET. At The Root, Belton served as the site’s youngest managing editor and first-ever editor-in-chief, and helped dramatically expand The Root’s profile, traffic, and corps of emerging writers.

    David Arroyo is Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary at BuzzFeed.

    Before joining BuzzFeed in 2019, David was the head of global compliance at Discovery (now known as Warner Bros. Discovery), the multinational media giant. Earlier, he was the chief ethics and compliance officer at Scripps Networks Interactive, the owner of Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel and other popular cable channels. Prior to Scripps Networks Interactive’s spinoff as a stand alone cable-focused entity, he was at The E.W. Scripps Company, which, in addition to operating cable networks, owned dozens of newspapers and local television broadcast stations.

    A trial lawyer by training, David started his career as an associate at Kirkland & Ellis and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He also clerked for a federal judge.

    David has extensive volunteer board experience apart from his work in the private sector. President Barack Obama appointed him, with U.S. Senate confirmation, to the board of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the steward of the American taxpayers’ investment in public media. While on the board of CPB, he sat on the audit committee. David also served as chairman of the board of Latino Justice, formerly the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund.

    David graduated with an A.B. from Duke University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Review.
